Two weeks ago in our LinkedIn workshop, we talked about the necessity of developing your personal brand to be used in promoting yourself on LinkedIn and other social media.

In a perfect segue, David Mitroff will expand our awareness about using social media for growing your personal and business brand. David is an engaging speaker, an expert in social media for business.

This eMarketing workshop is ideal for both job seekers needing to promote themselves and for small businesses to reach out to new customers. It will start with an overview of social media. We will then learn how to:

  • Evaluate the channels that are right for your goals
  • Create an integrated marketing plan with social media, email marketing and other traditional marketing efforts
  • Strategically utilize these low-cost tools to gain visibility and develop relationships, and for businesses drive sales, and maintain customer loyalty
  • Create good content for your social media marketing campaigns that get people to take action

About our presenter

David Mitroff, Ph.D. is founder and chief consultant of, a Bay Area business development and marketing consulting firm that creates brand awareness, strengthens customer loyalty, and increases lead generation by leveraging new technologies and streamlining business processes.

David has an extensive educational background including a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with coursework in Business Administration, Legal Studies, and Marketing. Program Schedule

We begin networking at 9:00 am. The program begins at 9:30 am and finishes by 11:00 am. You can stay and network with the speaker and your peers up to 11:30 am.

Mass Transit / Parking

The BART 16th & Mission station is a short two block walk from our location. The MUNI Market & Church Street station is four blocks away.

Inexpensive parking can be found at the Hoff Street Garage, 42 Hoff Street, San Francisco.

Valencia Gardens' parking is restricted to its residents. Parking within its lot by non residents will result in your vehicle being towed at your expense.
