Setting Your Course For Q3

The new quarter is a time of renewal and hope - to step back from the fray and look with fresh eyes at what you have done in 2013 so far, where you are going, and who you want to be. It is a time to clarify goals, make course corrections and commit anew. It is a time for change.

What will this third quarter in 2013 bring for you? Will you continue (or begin) to write your new story? Will you renew your commitment to live this year from a purposeful and authentic place? Will you live this quarter rather than let it live you? How can you make this quarter exceptional in that, by September 30, 2013, you know you gave it your full measure?

SFPCN Coach Josephine Bellaccomo (MOVE THE MESSAGE Training & Consulting) will lead the group in a 75-minute practical workshop that will include tools and techniques, self-exploration writing (you may want to bring a journal or planner), small group sharing, and goal setting for the third quarter of 2013.

This workshop opportunity focuses on setting your course thoughtfully and powerfully for the rest of the year. Come away with a clear direction and goals to match your vision. Engage and deepen your relationships with your SFPCN community as we explore, challenge and set the course for your success 2013. See you on Tuesday!

Good to touch base on this again. I know I took away more this time than from the Q2 presentation and more from the Q2 presentation than the one for Q1. Repetition has its value.

Having the opportunity to reflect on goals during a presentation is unique and a reminder for me to think ahead. Thank you for using this approach.

Awesome opportunity to set goal in a mindful way. Jo did a great job facilitating the process of setting realistic goals for Q3.

I used to play a game with my adult friends in which we talked about some thing we desired in the present tense, as if the desired thing were already in our possession. Adults can learn a great deal from the child's game of make believe: carrying yourself as if a desired thing is already true dispositions mind, body, and soul to its actualization. Jo had us doing just that, projecting ourselves in the future, acting as if we were at the END of Q3, writing about what we'd accomplished since the BEGINNING of Q3, i.e., today. Playing this magician's parlor "trick" on our mind is useful: belief in ourselves and our capacities is much more than half the battle won.

Setting goals and planning in bite sized chunks. Diverse and useful food for thought. Thanks Jo.

Unable to make today's meeting after all. If it is possible to receive the information covered, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone! Very excited to tailor this workshop to make it as relevant for you as possible. What are your goals for Q3? Any project on your "do it" list that's not yet done?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
