First Impressions

Most of us are nervous when we walk into an interview and meet the hiring manager for the first time. Or nervous when we walk in to see a prospective client.

There’s a science to understanding how we are seen from across the room and how we can size up the person we are meeting. It’s called the “Character Code System,” developed by our presenter and her partner originally for business professionals to get a “read” when going in to a meeting.

This week, each of us will discover our own Character Code – what are they thinking when they read you.

We’ll learn how to:

  • Stand out when we walk into a room
  • Make a few simple tweaks to transform that first impression
  • Think fast to make things happen.

This promises to be a very interesting and unusual presentation. We hope to see you on Tuesday.

Loved the more 'in depth' coverage of 'sizing up' your interviewer/s.
