How to Work with Recruiters: Salary and Compensation Negotiation

  • Oct 22, 2013 · 9:00 AM
  • Valencia Gardens

For many of us looking to transition to a new job or career, the world of recruiters is both mystifying and intimidating.

This week, our presenter will reveal the “behind the scenes” operation of the hiring process... from when a position becomes available to landing the job. By knowing how recruiters work, you will be in a much better position to partner with them to get in front of the people you need to meet.

We will learn

•  To determine our “EMV” (estimated market value) and the three steps to answering the “salary question” during the interview process

• How to leverage the other parts of the total compensation package to our advantage

• That recruiters live on the job boards –– Monster, Careerbuilder, and LinkedIn.

Join us on Tuesday to make “friends” with recruiters!
