In today's job market, the vast majority of successful career-seekers land new jobs through the people they know. This can be through referrals, networking, or face-to-face meetings with company representatives. Take advantage of the opportunity to network directly with representatives from a wide range of industries at the Mission Housing Development Corporation's career fair this Thursday, November 8th.

Who should attend?

Whether you are looking for a new career, want advice on the job search process, would like to practice your interview skills or want to network with other professionals in career transition, the Mission Housing Development Corporation career fair has something for everyone.

What activities will be available?

Career fair attendees can expect to meet with company representatives from a variety of industries to obtain information on available positions and training opportunities. Attendees may also receive job search coaching, participate in on-site interviews, and network with other professionals.

Which industries will be represented?

The industries represented will include non-profit, retail, education, service, recruiting, transportation, home improvement, construction, security, green training and health.

Please remember to dress in business casual attire and bring copies of your CV and business cards.

Career Fair Schedule

The career fair will begin at 1:00pm and will run until 3:00pm.

Mass Transit / Parking

Please note that Valencia Gardens' parking is restricted to its residents. Parking within its lot by non-residents will result in your vehicle being towed at your own expense.

I haven't been able to find any information on the job fair online. Is this a private event? Is it not publicized? Would love to know about the employers attending so I could do some research in advance.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
