Heath law and health policy to advance issues of access and quality. Advocacy and planning experience. Emphasis on access for all populations along continuum of care. Strong interest is public health and public health issues, emphasis on aging, technology and health, chronic conditions and new models of managing care. Have "practiced" in Washington, DC, Sacramento and recently moved back to Bay Area to expand search. Use law degree as tool to assist in policy development, execution and to understand implications of moving policy into law.
One that permits me to use my experience in health policy and law to serve in a capacity within a health care/health policy organization to continue to advance important public health issues around quality, access, care coordination, aging, chronic conditions and health issues specific to populations.
Meet others also searching for mutual support and ideas. To reduce isolation, become more integrated into Bay Area professional community. Provide information/support to others. I have great networking skills and think I will fit in well. Develop relationships, learn about new resources.
Health policy/health law professional. Experience in all levels of care within state agencies and non-profits. Sub specialty in aging policy and programs, particularly planning use of resources to support baby-boomers as this cohort ages.
