My career in sales, channel management and business development in telecommunications and high tech has been exciting and rewarding. I have been successful as an individual contributor and as a leader of successful teams. My roles as VP of Sales in entrepreneurial start-up's benefited from excellent training and experiences I received in large Fortune 500 companies like AT&T and Intel. Throughout my career, I have thrived on winning, and have always been results-oriented. My achievements have been exemplified by my contribution in building sales organizations for companies from the ground up, as well as understanding the nuances of working in bureaucratic environments to achieve the mission of large organizations I have served. I have also maintained my own consulting business, working with clients with short-term needs that required expertise from a seasoned sales executive. I currently do business in Latin America & am fluent in Spanish. I graduated from UC Berkeley & have an MBA.
I am seeking a Director/VP of Sales/VP of Business Development or equivalent position in a telecommunications or technology company. I am targeting large companies, however, I would consider another start-up if participation is included. I have been successful in Latin America, so international work is desirable. I am willing to travel extensively. Individual contributor roles as a consultant would be considered if at a senior executive level.
