Another day at the park watching some good old "free" live folk music @ the Hardly Strictly Festival at Golden Gate Park! To get this rolling, I'll bring my cooler FULL of Alky Sensation for some pleasant day drinking!
What: It's picnic style (& BYOB) but there are also food vendors at the "Bluegrass" festival! I know nothing about Bluegrass, but whatever...it's music, it's laid back and again it's FREE!!! It's really big, chill, and very SF... so why not!!
To find the group: Let's all try to first meet at the BANJO STAGE from 1PM - 1:30PMish and catch Steve Martin playin on his banjo. Look again for those darn Green Balloons (may change if I can find something better)!!!
My number was sent to those that RSVP'd by midnight 10/6/13!
Event Info Here: http://www.hardlystrictlybluegrass.com/2013/info/
We can slowly make our way to other stages (Chris Isaak at 4PM) ...and I will post a sign/symbol/marker here on this web page once I figure it all out and if there is reception.
Probable After Event: Depends if people still want to do something after (or leave early) such as grab dinner, drinks nearby, etc.
See ya all soon!
Hardly Strictly Festival: Bluegrass | Golden Gate Park

Event Map: http://www.hardlystrictlybluegrass.com/2013/print-at-home/HSB13_map-bw.pdf We can groove and chill...and even if the music isn't awesome, we can relax, drink, eat and be merry!. Also, there will be random booths, activities and definitely food trucks at the event!!
What we need to do:
Meet Up: Try to start trickling in around the same time (1PM - 1:30PMish at least) at the BANJO Stage to make it easy to find each other. I will post regularly the whereabouts of the group over the course of the festival. Note: The concert is free, does not sell out, and will happen rain or shine!!! Get off your ass & head to the park!!!
Bring Stuff: Picnic blankets, low-to-floor seats, games/playing cards, snacks, drinks (incl. beer!!!), jackets and/or hats & sunscreen (pending weather), & some positive energy for sharing.
Have Fun: Dance it up if the music is rocking, finish all the food, act like Bluegrass is darn amazing, and relax with good people!
