WHAT WE NEED TO DO:
Meet Up: Let's meet up at 7PM up on the second floor, away from the crazy crowds! We will meet somewhere between the stairs & the exit from the Planetarium (see fuzzy Map below). For those coming early, feel free to wander around and then come meet up with the crew
But I'm hella lagging: I will regularly post the group's whereabouts throughout the night. Contact info was emailed to those who RSVP'd early!
Bring Stuff: Ticket (if pre-purchased), ID's, Cash Preferred for Drinks, Cold Gear (if you feel cold), laughing hat & some positive energy for sharing.
Have Fun: Laugh, dance it up if the music is rocking, socialize, drink & chill with good people!
Parking: Street parking is free around the park. I would avoid parking in the parking structure right under the Academy of Sciences.
The #44-O'Shaughnessy bus stops across from the Academy at the Music Concourse on Tea Garden Drive (southbound) and in front of the Academy on Music Concourse Drive (northbound).
The #5-Fulton stops at 8th Avenue and Fulton Street, just outside the park. From 8th Avenue, go into the park and turn right on John F. Kennedy Drive. Then turn left onto Music Concourse Drive.
The N-Judah Muni Metro streetcar, which is wheelchair-accessible, stops at 9th Avenue and Irving Street. To reach the Academy, travel north on 9th Avenue into Golden Gate Park. 9th Avenue becomes Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Keep going on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. until you reach Music Concourse Drive, then turn right and continue to the Academy entrance.
