You've got the code written and the servers prepared...now what? Our May Meetup will be about best practices for running Redis in production. We're going to talk about speed, sharding, deployment, and (mature) optimization. We'll talk about saving memory, speeding up processes, and dead-simple configuration. We'll do some group discussion about the future of Redis with virtual memory, and discuss our ideas for the upcoming redis-cluster implementation. Our speakers so far include: Julien Genestoux -- CEO and Founder of Superfeedr Marc Byrd -- Founder & CEO of quetzall.com; Architect at dipdive.com We'll also have a more informal group discussion, where I hope we can isolate some best practices. After all, we'll have a lot of Redis talent in one room :) The Meetup will be Tuesday evening, May 25, 2010, starting with pizza and soda at 6:30, with the speakers starting around 7. We'll be at CBS Interactive, 235 2nd St in San Francisco, between Howard and Folsom. The location is just a few blocks from Montgomery BART, and there's usually free street parking in the area as well.
