DAY TWO OF TEA LOVERS BUS TOURS - THE WEST

DAY TWO OF TEA LOVERS BUS TOURS OF UNIQUE TEA EXPERIENCES -THE WEST
Sunday, October 23rd,11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Tea Bus Tour Starting and Ending Point:
Crown & Crumpet, 207 Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco

Day Two takes place in the City. This pair of Bay Area tea bus tours is the first produced by my friend and tea associate, Kulov, the producer of the Annual Tea Lovers Festival of Los Angeles (I was Assistant Producer this year - smile!). It will begin at one of the city's favorites, Crown & Crumpet at Ghirardelli Square, with a delicious tea brunch and bus tour registration/check-in.

Then, we'll visit Tranquil Resonance Studio, where founder David Wong will present us with the ancient Gongfu and Chaozhou Tea Ceremonies, accompanied by the music of the guqin (seven stringed zither) and the guzheng (table harp).

After that, we'll head over to the Ferry Building for a tea-infused, on-the-go lunch, created especially for us by Rona Tison of ITO EN, along with local favorite Delica. Here, we'll also have the chance to individually visit the various gourmet and tea retailers.

Next, we'll bus over to Taste Tea SF, the brand new modern tea house in Hayes Valley, to meet with well-known tea historian and author James Norwood Pratt for an intimate Q&A session, which will focus on San Francisco tea culture. Combining the traditional with the contemporary, James and tea tour participants will partake in the art of tea storytelling, while owners Rebecca Cheung and Vincent Fung will serve some of their unique house blends. We'll end the tour again at Crown & Crumpet

As space is limited to only 20 participants per tour, advance registration is highly recommended. Note that any two people paying together are a "couple" for pricing. You may get cost information and register securely online by clicking the link on the left side of the San Francisco Tea webpage or by going directly to www.TeaLoversFestival.com.

Please let your RSVP on the Meetup site show your intent to attend for our records. The tea bus tour is being announced on multiple Tea Meetups and to the general public. I will be attending. Hope to see you on tour! -- Dianna.

I'll ask who is a San Francisco Tea member before we board the bus. That way, we can sit near each other. This is going to be fun!
