Tigers of Market Street: Butterfly Habitat in SF

Join lepidopterists and artists Amber Hasselbring and Liam O'Brien for a conversation about the Western Tiger Swallowtail's survival in a radically altered landscape, how the butterfly fits into San Francisco's Better Market Street campaign and to explore novel ideas of how to connect the human species and the butterfly species. The butterfly lecture begins at 7:30.

I thought it would be fun to gather for a bite before the lecture. Pica Pica Maize Kitchen is a short walk (3 minutes according to Google maps) from the location of the lecture. Meet for dinner at 6:15.

Please note in your RSVP if you will be joining the group for dinner.

(This lecture is not a Wild Equity Institute event, but Amber Hasselbring and Liam O'Brien are friends of the Wild Equity Institute.   Learn about Wild Equity's work to save the endangered Lange’s Metalmark Butterfly at http://wildequity.org/sections/10 )

Great lecture! It was nearly a full house (5 Wildlife Enthusiasts + other attendees) The lecture will be available online eventually for those of you that were not able to attend or for anyone that would like to listen again or would like to share the lecture with friends.
