San Francisco Writers Community Monthly Community Meetup

From: W. Ross A.
Sent on: Monday, September 19, 2011 9:53 AM

When: Sunday, October 2,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Quetzal Internet Cafe
1234 Polk Street (between Fern St. and Bush St.)
San Francisco, CA 94109

This month we have a new location and a guest speaker.

Ricky Wong is an Ex-Google Software Engineer who has been working on a tool to turn every book into a social networking app on the iPad/iPhone.

He will show us examples of books he has worked on, how your book could also potentially turn into an app too (see demo here[masked]?mt=8).

He will also talk about his latest project --  Helping writers who don't have an audience platform to build one quickly before they even finish the whole book.

This is a very relaxed format. I am also looking for assistant organizers to help out with some new events and jobs that need to be done.

As always, let me know what you want more of.
