Sunday Code & Brunch: HTML5 Frameworks

Hi SGV Web Designers & Developers,
Special thanks go to Jennifer for doing a great job leading the group. I hope to continue the great momentum she have built.

Let's do brunch with group introduction and then we'll be exploring HTML5 frameworks, boilerplates and tools for front-end web development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).

We'll explore some of the popular HTML5 frameworks over coffee, tea, and/or brunch:
Twitter Bootstrap
HTML KickStart
and more.

We'll be in Pasadena for some coffee, tea, and Sunday brunch while we code and learn.

You are also welcome to come, network, and work on your project. I look forward to meeting everyone in the group and hope together we can help grow the SGV tech community.

Please feel free to contact me at ounie[at] if you any questions, suggestions for events, or classes.

Wind, did you go to Copa Vida (coffee shop) at the corner of E. Green St. and Raymond St. in Old Town Pasadena? I recognized Ounie when I got there at 12 pm today. We were in line getting food.

Hi, first time attending, so question. Do we have to bring our own laptops/tablets or equipment will be available on site?

I'm excited about this Meetup! This is the exact topic I've been looking into... I would like to build a "practice" website and I was trying to figure out what's best (for my skill level anyway). If anyone is interested in practice, let me know. I have a site, I just need to figure out the content and start building! Thanks for organizing this Ounie.

Yes! That would be absolutely fine. I need to start from scratch...completely, from a brainstorming meeting about content to the actual implementation. I can explain the site on Sunday.

So I arrived with other 2 attending members at 12 but no 1 is to be seen for 30 mins. Are we in the wrong place?

I have a previous commitment, but I'll stop by at 1:30 to see if you're still there.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
