Indie films online

I heard about a site/service for streaming indie films: fandor.com. I wanted to tell you about this, because I recently took a look at it and was amazed at the number of movies they offer - and there appear to be many truly indie films. This group does not often see real indie films - they're too obscure to make it to any theater.

I think you'll be hard-pressed to find many of these films on Netflix (but I can't be sure of that).

I'm not getting anything from Fandor, in fact I haven't even signed up yet, I just thought you'd like to know. It's $10 per month - as they point out, this is the price of one movie ticket. Yes it's more expensive than Netflix streaming, but could be worthwhile.

If you want to leave comments, you can post to our message board "At the Movies".

See you at the movies!
