Developing True Happiness through Buddhist Study
Palo Alto Buddhist Study Group
Wednesday, April 10, 7:00 - 9:00 PM
“If your happiness includes the causes of suffering, that is mixed happiness, like rice that is not pure. If we remove the causes of suffering in our happiness, that joy will be purer and stronger.” - Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche
Please join us for contemplation and viewing some special Buddhist images! We will continue our discussion of:
- What is true happiness?
- What is the potential of the mind?
- How does Buddhist study help you to develop true happiness and the potential of the mind?
We welcome all to join us for a discussion of the teachings of our guru, Namnang Mingjo Dorje Rinpoche. We will continue to discuss the essence of Buddhist practice, and how understanding and removing our suffering can transform our mind and our lives, and help us develop true happiness.
This evening will be a wonderful opportunity to familiarize yourself with the principles of Buddhism, no matter your level of experience. All are welcome! Hope you can join us, and bring a friend!
For any questions or directions, please call Julie at[masked]-8420. Please RSVP through Meet Up to help us with our planning. Thanks, and see you soon!
