Understanding your Problems Finding the Solution: Importance of Cause & Effect

"In our minds we have accumulated a lot of karma. That karma will cover your mind and make your mind unable to function normally. The kind of situation is "ignorance" and that karma will make your mind make the wrong decision and do the wrong deed, that is ignorance...

What is the ultimate happiness? The reality is that the happiness we are thinking about is not the ultimate happiness because all the happiness we experience now is compared with suffering. That kind of happiness is not the ultimate happiness because that kind of happiness will reduce in its level of happiness. The Buddha found the logic of dependent origination and he realized empty nature and from empty nature he discovered the philosophy of non-duality and from non-duality comes the stage of Nirvana. Nirvana is no arising, no disappearing, neither tainted nor pure, does not increase or decrease, that is the non-duality, Nirvana (the Ultimate Happiness)."

Class 2- "Understanding your Problems Finding the Solution: Importance of Cause & Effect"

Please join us as we discuss:

• Why do we experience happiness and suffering within our lives? What are the causes of happiness? What are the causes of suffering?

• What is karma? How does karma (your experiences- both positive & negative) imprint and store in your mind-stream? How does the ultimate pure essence of your mind become contaminated?

• How does Dharma (Buddha's Teachings) help us to reflect and contemplate about our life and give us insights and understanding of how to solve our problem? How do we generate more happiness and decrease/remove the suffering within our lives?

"In our minds we have a lot of causes of suffering and causes of happiness, so we need to remove or reduce the causes of suffering and increase the causes of happiness. According to Dharma (Buddha's Teaching), the first step we need to do is study the Dharma to setup the criterion, so you can know what to do- what is correct and what is not correct. In your mind you will setup a criterion to compare and be able to decide what is correct or not correct. After you study the Dharma, you can use this criterion to reflect about yourself and find out what is your problem and find the solution. After you find the solution, you can perform the solution, apply the antidote for your problem and that process is CULTIVATION. "
