Have you ever threatened to throw your kids out the window?

I have. I loved the little darlings dearly, but after five hours in the car with pretty much constant bickering in the backseat, my patience was sorely strained. Okay...I was a basket case.

Here's the thing, though: "venting" did not help me feel better. In fact, in addition to feeling angry, I now felt guilty....and stupid, because my outburst resulted in only about 32 seconds of detente in the backseat war.

What could I have done to calm my own agitation? How could I have solved the problem so that the kids were kind and quiet for the rest of the way to Grandma's? I did. You can, too.

Come to our meetup this Sunday at 3 and find out how.

(I'm getting a little worried about who's rsvp today if you can!)
