REEL TALK: A Process for Creating Unique, Creative and Compelling Videos

Visions of a killer marketing video dancing in your head but not sure how to execute one within your time and budget constraints? The key components to making irresistible marketing videos remain the same whether you plan to DIY, outsource certain services or hire a production company for the whole shebang (hint: it’s in the storytelling).

In this talk/workshop session you will learn the basics to creating a structure and storyline that meets a specific marketing goal, a brief overview of the many components that make up video production and how they impact the final product, and best of all, you’ll walk away with a written outline ready to use for your first or next video.

There’s no reason to hold yourself back from turning your marketing video vision into reality. After attending this talk, you’ll have the necessary knowledge to develop a compelling marketing video story and a basis for comparing your execution options.

Stef Shaterian is one of the founders of fLO Content. She is a fundamentally creative person at heart and fLO was born out of her desire to tell unique and interesting stories. She firmly believes that every business owner brings something special to their customers and her job is to help that message get in front of the right people in a way that stands out from the crowd. That often involves a willingness to take a risk, and fLO's a little edgy. Working collaboratively, with an eye on authenticity and understanding what will resonate with an intended audience are key elements of all of fLO's engagements. Providing service quickly and responsibly is a given.

Microsoft has requested that the Presenter not use an Apple Computer for their presentation. You can definitely use any Apple product while in the audience.

Just LOVE the video: it's a good combo of old-school advertising wrapped around a meta new-wave kitschy kick.
