Hi Guys, None of the pictures are edited(not even cropped). So you get the lighting in the pictures..

Also, I personally like this one and the 12th one.. Any lighting suggestions(interms of aperture, shutter etc) are welcome. Looking fwd to see others pictures..

Were you on Auto White Balance? I used Cloudy for my WB.

Yes.. Generally during shoots, i try to use xrite color checker for more accuracy. I'm in Fremont temporarily and do not have all my gear. So, used Auto WB. As far WB goes, I would always prefer to play with it during post except for very few rare occasions.

Why did you want to use cloudy? Any particular reason? And on a general note, I found your pictures a bit more warmer for my taste. I don't know what am going to have when am done editing though..

Yeah, we can change all of these WB in post processing since we all shot RAW. it's just that I had my camera on cloudy when I used it yesterday early afternoon. When it's really sunny, i tend to use cloudy as my WB.

And btw, IMO, I don't think there is a wrong or right way doing things. it's up to our imagination. The key point for our practice is to produce the results that we want, either well lit, with shadow, warm, cool, neutral temperature, etc. It does not matter. what matters is we know how to consistently produce what we want.

I discovered this meetup just now. I wish these outdoor shooting session are repeated in future. I am looking for this type hands on experience. Guli

it looks like the shutter speed was a little faster than the flash sync
