I for one would attend in an L.A. minute were it to take me that long to get there from San Diego!

I'd like to share with everyone an email that I wrote to the organizers of the event:

I'm THRILLED to high heaven that this march is to take place.
However, there is a point in the platform advocated by your webpage flyer for this march with which I take STRENUOUS exception in spite of the pervasive "Party Line".

The "Public Option" in healthcare reform is NOT a CONSTITUTIONAL option, from any partisan perspective.

The "Left-Right" paradigm is the diabolical, artificial construct of the agents of the globalist NWO elites. One among many major tools, yes, even the "Crown Jewel," of those forces seeking to hijack this nation away from its founding Republican form of government is indeed the socialist heist of health care. The effort serves not only to turn us upon one another as duped devotees of one or the other political cult, but also to set up the citizenry to become further acclimated to the unconstitutional intrusion of the federal government into our private lives. The entire premise of government-run health care, the "public option," is antithetical to the full letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution.

"Reform" should be finally and fully foisted upon those who are DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for the high cost of healthcare in the form of prosecuting exploitive Insurance Companies and medical-industry entities for FRAUDULENT CHARGES, rather than giving them a FREE PASS by spreading those fraudulent charges among all the populace. The socialism angle is EXACTLY what these Fraudsters WANT in order to get away, scott-free, with still further unwarranted PROFITS at the expense of the people!

I, for one, will be carrying a sign during the march that REFUTES the "Public Option" because it is NOT CONSTITUTIONAL, and for good reason!

Ramon,

Are you advocating "Medicare for All?" We have had medicare for the elderly since 1968. That's socialism in your book. Most people who are over the age of 65yo love their medicare coverage because they don't have to worry about going bankrupt from abusive medical bills.

I would agree with you if you favor "Medicare for All." A lot of good hard working doctors and nurses support "Medicare for All." They have organizations such as "Physicians for National Health Program" and the "California Nurses Association." I suggest you check out their websites.

Hi Ramon. It's a shame so many on the left don't have a clue that 'universal health care and cap N trade are all about complete totalitarian control of everybody, from cradle to grave. Joe Ryan

Supposedly this health care farce is what people like me need. I am unemployed, no medical coverage at all, several serious health issues, and broke. Boy I should be thrilled about the health care reform , right? WRONG! Why? Because it is exactly what Joe Ryan says it is. Gaining totalitarian control over EVERYONE and EVERY aspect of our lives. I have had to apply for CMS, that is County Medical Services, for a short time. And I was very surprised at the quality of care I received. I am here to tell everyone that there is good, quality health care available for people in need if they put the effort in to fill out the paperwork and provide the required documents. Health care reform is an illusion and I myself resent the fact that they claim to know what I want or need.
Thank You

CMS isn't for everyone. I was going through a bad spell, and tried to apply, but was denied because I am a property owner. At the time, laid off, no insurance, and no income, so I couldn't tap into equity, but in the County's words, "Next Please!" What I did was head to Mexico. I got pretty good care, but this isn't an option for most Americans, is it?
