The food! LOL
Some, but mostly reading.
Several years, but not recent
Started in 1963!
I was glad to meet all of you last night. I was a bit disappointed that more Chinese was not spoken. The whole point of attending for me is to exercise my very rusty shuo hua! So let's stick to that, I hope! Even if you are at an elementary level, you can make progress if only you will try! Even if restricted to ni hao and dzai jian! At least you can pronounce with proper tones LOL!
Welcome to the Chinese Language Networking Group ...
Love the subject but will be in Seattle in Dec. Any meetups in late Oct or early Nov? Am currently reading The Guns of August and have as much admiration for the writing itself as for the story. Two Master's in English allow me to read and write passably. Currently working on a play about Hitler's early years, and how he began to turn into the monster he became.
I'm glad to see you will attend thismeeting because I'm afraid I haven't met anybody yet. I don't see the address. Would you please email it to me if you have the chance?
If time allows, I will attend first the conference at the City Heights Library.
Thanks, Jim! Look forward to meeting you as well. In humanist fraternity, aaron
Is the church/state talk still on for tomorrow? There's no RSVP check-off, so I can't RSVP. I'm interested in coming. Will there be a lot of folk there? Also, is it a panel discussion? A debate? A lecture?
