Are you a native Chinese speaker?

No, I'm born in the US. My parents spoke Cantonese with me when I was growing up. I didn't learn Mandarin until I went to college.

What do you love most about Chinese culture?

It's complicated yet the culture is very unique.

Are you using your Chinese for work/school/leisure purposes today?

I use Chinese for leisure. Sometimes, if I go to a Chinese market, I will speak Chinese to the cashier.

How long have you lived/worked/studied in a Chinese speaking country?

How long have you studied Chinese in US (or elsewhere)?

3 years

I recently move to San Diego.
