Are you a native Chinese speaker?

No, I am a native English speaker.

What do you love most about Chinese culture?

Experiencing Chinese culture has let me experience the world with a completely different view. I grew up around and spent a lot of time with a Taiwanese family when I was young. When I actually decided to learn Chinese and go to China when I was older, I think so many facets resonated with me from my childhood, that I have trouble articulating one thing specifically that I enjoy the most.

Are you using your Chinese for work/school/leisure purposes today?

I am using Chinese strictly for leisure, but wouldn't mind using it in a work situation.

How long have you lived/worked/studied in a Chinese speaking country?

I lived for about a month in Shanghai.

How long have you studied Chinese in US (or elsewhere)?

I studied it for about 3 years, but less aggressively in the latter years.

I enjoy opportunities to practice and speak Chinese when I can.
