My name is Trish; my husband Daryl and I are raising our new four legged son, Watson... he's a red/white Pembroke born 9/27/2014. Though is generally a sweetheart, we're looking to see if he might be able to do more than just be a great house pet... though I know he'll be a good companion, he is supposedly part of the herding group, and I would hate to discourage something he was born to do (it's like clipping a bird's wings). I don't know if he's necessarily good for show or able to successfully herd, but maybe he might be great for agility! The possibilities are endless; all I hope is we can give him a happy, healthy life marked with great training and full of adventures!
Well, truthfully, this is my first puppy; we have no clue what we're doing, let alone how to deal with a character breed like a Corgi! We can tell he's so, so, soo incredibly smart, but even at 16 weeks, he's starting to get bored with his basic sit, stay, down, shake, look at me, and walks! Maybe if we sees other exemplary members of his breed, he'll be more inclined to follow. Regardless, he hasn't seen a Corgi since he left his litter at 8 weeks, so he's extremely due to meet his brethren! He's well socialized, but just needs that extra mentorship :P
Wherever it the journey takes us! Preferably, wherever we go, it will be low to no cost (i.e., I would probably decline a Vegas trip). I'd like to raise Watson as close as possible to being involved in the outdoors/dog sports, since he lives in an apartment on the day to day.

Watson is one of the greatest blessings in my life. It is my goal to spend as much time with him as possible for the next 13-15 years, if not longer! He is my and my husband's greatest treasure to date.
Still love SDCMG! The corgis and their owners are wonderful and make Saturdays bearable for me :D
