I agree engrossing is a good word for it. Many layers and puzzle pieces to pick out as you go. Although, I think what I loved about it is that they really get you emotionally involved in the evolution of his character for most of the film and then the pull the proverbial rug out from under you! Awesome film. Had a great time! Totally recommend it.

Engrossing film-- one of those I need to see again to catch what I missed the first time and to see again all the art woven into the tapestry of the film. I thought Geoffrey Rush was great in his role, too.

Wish I hadn't missed this! Darn rain, it took me over an hour to do a trip that regularly only takes 20 minutes!

Missed the first few minutes but what a gorgeous movie! The cinematography was stunning, and the story was well orchestrated.

Preparing to flake... I'm not sick but nursing a week-long headache. Don't save a seat for me if I'm not there at 6:30pm.

All - I apologize but this has become a strange week where I'm not able to personally attend two of the events I set up...now including this one, due to a work meeting in OC. This event will still go...it will just be un-hosted. But definitely look for each other. For those that are coming for your first event tonight...there are quite a few regulars going tonight. Including Wayne, Shannyn, Peggy, Helen, Kevin and Benny. They're all awesome, friendly people...so, look for their faces...and say hi to them! Sorry again...and I look forward to meeting all of the new folks at the ton of films I'm setting up for February and March! ~ Robb

Hi all, It looks like they don't have tomorrow's showings available online for purchase (or today's for that matter). @Lori, it looks like $10.50 based on the website.

Helen - You can get to the tickets online at this link. Just be sure to choose the correct date and time if you go this route. :) http://digitalgym.org...

Great! The theater must have fixed the problem. Neither yesterday's nor today's shows had been showing when I spoke to them. They hadn't seen them either. :)

Hi Robb, this sounds interesting. Do you know how much is the ticket and if they take cash or card? Thanks for organizing this.

    February 5, 2014

    • Robb

Hi Lori! Yes both cash and card. And, Helen is correct...$10.50. But $8.50 for students and seniors. They should also be available online. Maybe something is down. I'll take a look as well. I look forward to meeting you!

Hope everyone's having a great week!

    Parking Info:
Not much info to give for this theater except the area is mostly all street parking. So give yourself a little extra time to find a spot.

    See you at the theater!

It's a really awesome place. Only 50 seats but very comfortable and a cool intimate setting.

I won't be able to join you on Thursday, but are you sure this film is playing at Landmark Kensington on Thursday? That's not what their website says.
