Special IBD meeting for current market conditions

This is a special meeting setup by IBD. I like these nugget sessions. From the IBD speaker:

1.  We’ll do analysis of the current market and talk about when its ok to but
stocks despite the market still being in a correction. For example,
this most recent rally, you could have been buying before the FTD on
7/11.

2.  We will spend a significant amount of time on individual stock analysis
and building a focused watch list. I will go through the “Stock
Checklist” feature on the Leaderboard charts and talk about the
fundamentals that are most relevant followed by chart analysis.  I
anticipate the is going to take up a majority of the class. There
should be a ton of questions as I’m going through the charts. I DO NOT
plan on talking about Syntex or Xerox from 1963, Wal-Mart from 1980,
MSFT from 1985 or Amgen and Cisco from 1990. I’ve learned from my
travels that most folks don’t care about historical precedent. They
want to know how CAN SLIM is relevant in this market.

In other words -- using CANSLIM to help navigate the current market. It sounds like fun to me! I'll bet his projector will work better than my external monitor did this month!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
