Introduction

I travel frequently to Japan for work, took some Japanese communication classes in Hawaii prior to moving to San Diego, love to watch Japanese movies and Anime, and sometimes dream about living in Japan.

How much time have you spent in Japan and where? Or, if you are Japanese, how long have you been away from Japan?

Visited about 9 times since 2004, usually to Yokosuka, Yokohama, Tokyo, Sasebo, Atsugi, Misawa, and Okinawa. I would love to see Kobe some day because that's where my dad was born and spent several years there.

If you are not from Japan, have you studied Japanese? Where?

Studied in Hawaii.

How many Hello Kitty items do you own? (No, posession of Kitty-chan articles is not a requirement of membership.)

Many; in the form of office supplies and cell phone danglers. Still trying to own an exclusive Black Hello Kitty item and spend most of my Japan visits looking for them.
