Introduction

Feeling natsukashii about Japan.

How much time have you spent in Japan and where? Or, if you are Japanese, how long have you been away from Japan?

3 years in all. 2 in Tokyo (1 year as exchange student, 2nd year for more language). Six months in Matsuyama (Shikoku). One Summer in Nagaoka (Niigata). Lots of little trips.

If you are not from Japan, have you studied Japanese? Where?

Studied at UC Berkeley, ICU, Sophia, UCSD (IR/PS).

How many Hello Kitty items do you own? (No, posession of Kitty-chan articles is not a requirement of membership.)
