Introduction

I recently moved to San Diego and looking to make new friends here.

How much time have you spent in Japan and where? Or, if you are Japanese, how long have you been away from Japan?

I'm not Japanese, but I spent several months in Tokyo, about six years in Okinawa, and one year in Nagoya.

If you are not from Japan, have you studied Japanese? Where?

I majored in Japanese in college and also studied while living abroad. Glad to find there is a Japanese speaking community in SD!

How many Hello Kitty items do you own? (No, posession of Kitty-chan articles is not a requirement of membership.)

None that I can think of, but I would be surprised if she didn't sneak into my luggage somewhere.
