Announcing a new Meetup for San Diego Japanese Language & Culture Group!

What: Movie Night - Galileo Suspect X
When: April 17,[masked]:45 PM

** Note - the movie starts at 9:45PM, but I will be there at 8 for anyone who wants to show up early to hang out and chat. The cafe we use for this event is being generous with their equipment, time, and space, so if you can help out by buying a tea/coffee/etc. or leaving a tip, I'm sure the owners would appreciate it. **

=====================

For this movie night, we are showing:

Galileo Suspect X

Yukawa Manabu is a genius physicist and university professor who uses mathematics to solve difficult mysteries, gaining him the nickname, "Galileo". His goal is to prove that nothing is impossible and that everything has a scientific explanation. Yukawa is joined by police officer Utsumi Kaoru, who is on the other end of the spectrum. She believes some things defy scientific explanations and prefers to rely on her intuition.

Kaoru always calls upon Yukawa to help solve crimes that have the police department completely stumped, and Yukawa will only help with a case if it's something that he's curious about how it was possible.

In "Suspect X" Yukawa is pitted against his classmate and fellow mathematics genius in a battle of wits to solve a murder case. When a body appears and the murder suspect was at a movie theater at the time of the killing, the mystery lies in how it was possible for the suspect to be in two places at the same time.

"Suspect X" will keep you baffled until the very end.
