Help with new iPhone game for learning/reviewing Japanese vocabulary

San Diego, CA
Post #: 5
Hi Everyone,

The game "Otsukai Samurai", a fast-paced Japanese Vocabulary game, was originally created by several members of the LA Japanese Meetup group () and play tested by friends in Japan.

Now that version 1.1 is available, we would like to add more levels so players can practice a wider range of words. So, we're looking for a male native Japanese speaker to volunteer their voice for recording or, if you're artistically talented, we could use some new graphics for backgrounds or objects.

Whatever time you could spare would be greatly appreciated!

*oh, currently it's a .99 cent app which was to cover the cost of the music we added. So it's an all volunteer project until it picks up. But everyone who helps out will most certainly get permanent credit for it!

Just a question, why did you guys start out with katakana to unlock the first ten coins? I would assume people normally learn hiragana first. Took me a while at first but figured out how to start the game.
