About The San Diego Moms Meetup Group

The San Diego Moms Meetup Group believes that every mother deserves a support group through which she can connect with other women in a safe, fun, inclusive environment. Our group gives women a forum to discuss and organize events that suit our unique needs as mothers. We believe that arranging daily play dates and walks, quarterly volunteer opportunities, frequent Moms Night Outs, and other programs specific to the needs of our group are essential to meeting our goal of creating a genuine community of mothers. We believe that being a woman doesn?t stop when you become a mother. The San Diego Moms Meetup group gives women the ability to live their lives as women and mothers, not mothers alone.

San Diego Moms Meetup is for new and experienced moms. We also welcome women who've just found out their going to be called "mom" soon.
At San Diego Moms Meetups we strive to understand the every day challenges moms must face whether they're experienced or just learning the ropes.

We all face trials, tribulations, and incredible joys through motherhood. Join the group, and find that there are many women who want to share it with you!
Have you been looking for a group of womyn that you can actually get to meet and hang out with in person? Our group is not an online mother's group, but on offline community of mothers.

We have moms all over San Diego County and meet in various areas each week. Once you join this group, get ready to get out of the jammy pants, brush your teeth, maybe take a shower, get the spitup out of your hair and come out to a group event.

We have a very large group, and that just makes us event better! With a group this big, you get to meet new moms all the time. We usually have at least 7 different events each week. So, there is always someone to see and something to do!

• We have moms of all ages as members. We have young moms, and more seasoned mother. We also have children of all ages in our group
  
  
• All group events are open to all members. We do not hold age specific play dates. Many moms with younger children come out to our play date. Bring a blanket and let the little one out for some tummy time!!

  The Fine Print - Read Before Applying
  
  • Please fill out the profile questions when you apply. No profiles with any blank questions will be approved.
    
  • Give us a great introduction. The introduction you write will be seen by all of our members when they log onto our site. So, tell us about yourself! Bare introductions will not be approved. Introductions should have more than your name, child's name, and hello in order to be approved.
    
  • You must have a picture of yourself in your profile in order to join. This is to help ensure the safety and comfort of all. No applications will be accepted with out a picture.
    
  • We currently accept donations to cover the fee charged by meetup.com to maintain this group on their website and help run the group. Please be aware that may change in the coming months to a very low yearly fee. Feel free to give a donation to an organizer for the group at any meetup.
    
  • Though we love to support each other, please do not join this group with the intent to sell to us. Once you become an active member and have attended at least one meetup, you may post your business in the appropriate threads.
    
  • The entire purpose of this group is to meet other moms. For security reasons all new members must attend an event within their first 30 days as a member. If there isn't an event that you can come to, suggest one! Exceptions will be made for those moving to the area. If you will not be able to attend an event in your first 30 days, please let the organizer know why.
    
  • By applying to this group, you acknowledge and agree that your safety, and the safety of anyone that attends events with you, including your children is your sole responsibility. You understand and agree that you will not hold the group or any organizers responsible for your safety and well being.
    
  • By applying for this group, you acknowledge that there will be people taking pictures at out events, and you give permission for those pictures to be used on the group website, and for group purposes.
