It's the Features, Stupid: How scrum helps deliver features on time

At some point in time, we lost sight on what we're developing and why. A huge list of requirements, a monolithic MS Project document, and an archaic waterfall SDLC has made it difficult to understand what's really important and virtually impossible to deliver a product on scope and on time. The solution is simple: agile software development. ScrumMaster Tim Sorweid will be walking you through the core concepts of Scrum agile development and how you can apply them at your office to help deliver features that matter in a time that beats your competitors to the market.

I really liked how well you interacted with people as they asked questions. You definitely knew your topic inside and out. And the honesty of you are always learning and never perfect is very important.

Hope you guys had a good time and learned something you can bring back to your development teams. Please let me know if you have any questions on how to pitch scrum to your boss

Again, great job last night. My boss couldn't make it as he had planned, so I am going to basically re-give your presentation to him soon. :-)

For those solo developers who are on the fence on this talk, scrum principles actually can apply to the way you interact with your clients, so you may want to check it out and see what you can get out of it.

I've always been interested in software process. I'm glad to get this opportunity to hear about Scrum. My particular interest is small software projects.
