Is there a list of recommended environment set up? Symphony2? What else?

Right now we're using Vagrant. I think we'll spend some time working on environments Monday.

I'm with Leon, more TWIG would be good, along with some material on design patterns specifically the design patterns used within Symfony2, I was reading somewhere that learning a framework is one of the better ways to learn design patterns and I think this would help everybody in understanding Symfony2 better. Also we should all try and make sure we have a working Symfony2 installation prior to our sessions to make the most benefit of our time with Juan, and give him less headaches!! I played around with getting Symfony version 2.4.1 installed and working, and realized I only had the ram setting in my Vagrantfile set to 512 when it needed to be 1024. Before I changed this Composer was hanging up when trying to download Symfony, I think several of us had this problem the last time so try it out. If anyone needs help getting their environment setup on Windows 7 I'm now reasonably familiar with the process.

Okay, I have decided :) Since it seems like there will be a good number of newcomers to the group, we can take a look to design patterns/principles before we get into other topics. I'm currently working on a "out of the box" dev VM, that way we can spend less time setting up machines and more learning and coding.
