Fully Funded Startup in Irvine - LAMP/.NET and NoSQL/Android/iOS

Hey SD PHP!

Sorry I couldn't make it to last week's meetup (had an early flight on Friday morning), but I heard William did an awesome job.  Thanks William!

Anyway, I've mentioned this casually to folks in the past, but we're now getting to the point where we really need to move forward with finding some great developers ASAP.

I'm the CTO of uParts, a recently VC-funded startup in the automotive collision repair industry, and we're actively looking to bring on a Jr. and a Sr. level software developer to work with our team here in Irvine (a block away from Irvine Spectrum).

Now before you ask me, "Mike... Irvine?!  Isn't that far?!"  Note that I actually do live in San Diego, and yes, I commute to Irvine every day.  Fortunately there is an Amtrak that runs to/from SD and Irvine (I'm actually sending you this email from the train, which has free wifi) which I ride every day... the commute isn't bad at all (no traffic! =)

Anyway, the technologies we are currently using include LAMP, JavaScript (jQuery and AngularJS) and .NET, and we will be doing a lot of work with NoSQL (still considering MongoDB and Couch), as well as building out Android and iOS mobile apps, within the next 3-6 months.

But what we are mostly looking for are strong software developers (regardless of past technology experience) as long as they have a good, solid understanding of OO principles and design patterns, and has a strong desire and curiosity to learn new technologies, etc.

Both these positions are full-time positions with standard employee benefits (401k, insurance, etc.). Plus, as a VC-backed startup, compensation will include a market-rate salary plus generous bonuses, stock options, etc.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know. If you would like to apply, please feel free and read thru the job descriptions, which include information on how to apply.

Please note that we are looking to hear from PRINCIPALS ONLY. We are NOT interested in using a recruiting firm or a headhunter, so recruiters, please respect this and do not contact me.

Thanks so much for your time... I hope to hear from you soon!
