During April's meeting, Permies Foxy and Tigre will provide tips and techniques about managing SDP's online presence (Facebook and others). Join us to learn techniques to manage the daily activity of marketing San Diego Permaculture online.
The meeting begins promptly at 9:30 am.
Since January 2014, an SDP Interim Council has been meeting monthly to draft and promote the adoption of governing bylaws for San Diego Permaculture. During these meetings, the group has created an initial draft of bylaws. This draft is available online and at the April meeting.
The draft Bylaws (which still need to be adopted by SDP Permies) identify who are members of San Diego Permaculture; what are the activities or requirements for meetings; how voting occurs; what are the positions and requirements of the board members and offices; what are the membership dues and how the bylaws can be amended.
The end-game here is (1) to have the general membership adopt the bylaws and register SDP as an "unincorporated association" with a Tax ID Number; and (2) nominate and elect Permies to San Diego Permaculture's Board.
The Interim Council meets on a monthly basis in different locations across San Diego. May's meeting is in Ramona. June's meeting is in San Diego's Southbay. July's meeting is in Lakeside. Join in the discussion and meet some awesome Permies along the way!
All meetings are open to all SDP Permies. Voting is limited to SDP's Interim Council Membership. Discussions will be timed. We ask all Permies who want to participate in discussions at the meetings to read the past meeting minutes in order to be informed about the status of ongoing discussions.
