This meet up will be all about compost.  We are going to dig in and get our hands dirty. Building hot compost bin(s) and filling them with compostable materials, making a worm bin (or more) and exploring different bedding material, using (and making if interested) compost turning devices, compost sling and sifters.... and of course we go over the basics: What to use and not to use. A tour of a nearby worm farm is a possibility. 

How to build a hot compost pile, different containers you might use, vermicomposting and basic how tos. If you are interested, we can also tour a vermicomposting operation close to my house. You can buy incredible cheap worm casting there. $ 5 for a bag (~25lbs). Buy 4 and get one free. Or we can build worm bins you can take home. I donate your starter worms. Please bring a dish to share. I have plenty of cups, plates and forks - so no need to bring any. I'll have water, herbal tea and coffee. If you like something else to drink, please bring it along...
