I am thrilled to tell you that I have the ok from Corey Keach who works at Nature's Express and we will be having our potluck there on Sunday March 15th, starting at 1pm. Please bring a raw vegan dish to share or you are welcome to buy one at the restaurant, as they sell vegan and raw foods.
I look forward to seeing you all there and to support this wonderful establishment in our community.

Hi Mindy ~ It's Jenn, Scorpio's friend from the Hillcrest Farmer's Market. I would love to talk to you about hosting the raw food potlucks at a new place I just moved into ~ the Upaya Arts Meditation Center. We would love to host the potlucks. I will be out of town the 15th of March, but would like to host the April one. You can call me at [masked] or email me at [masked]

I had mixed feelings about the gathering. The purpose is to experience a different way of preparing foods. The experience of sitting or standing with people too absorbed to meet new people is disturbing. More than a few people don't know the proper etiquette for a potluck. You don't take big pieces or large servings when you know there are 20 people who would also like a taste. That's crazy rude.

what nice people and what great food. enjoyed it very much. came home with an empty bowl which contained the thai salad i fixed. i also enjoyed nature's express where the pot luck was held. the food that was purchased there was really good.
    •  This was my first time and I had a wonderful experience meeting many different people from all walks of life. It was the first time I had raw food too and it was all so yummy. Several of the people at the meeting were kind enough to take my email and will share their recipe with me. I felt very comfortable, it truly felt like a family gathering that's how comfortable I felt.

It was wonderful to see so many new people in attendance and the location was great. Everyone mingled together and enjoyed the food that was shared. I will definitely do the potluck at Nature's Express again!
