This is a 10-16 mile run at about 8:30 pace. The goal is to qualify for boston with these base miles, with some farltek or hills here and there. We start at 6:30, so show up a few minutes early all warmed up. We can do coffee before/afterwards if you wish. You do not need to be boston focused, this training is great for half marathons too.
Current Marathon training is for AFC and Long Beach
Example routes will be:
1) run to market, back down to hilton of convention center, up to airport, up laurel and back (10 to 16)

2) run to old town / mission bay park and back (12-16 miles)
3) run to Bay marina park in Chula vista and back
For an extra fun mile, on finish we will run down Boston Ave which is next to the cafe.
