What place are you hoping to visit soon?

South America (Peru, Costa Rica, Panama, Brazil, Argentina, Chile....), Alaska, Galapagos, and SE Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Laos...etc) are currently on my radar. Have to admit that there are very little places that I would NOT want to travel to, so just about anywhere sounds very exciting. Would love to go to South Africa, Australia, any tiny island, Russia... So many places! And I missed both Tibet and Hong-Kong on my last trip, so I want to visit those as well.

What is your job/occupation/what do you do to allow you to continue to travel!?

I work in the school system, so I get summers off, as well as a few months during the school year.

What's your travel style? Are you a hosteler, a 5-star only, or somewhere in between? Are you more of a planner or a happy-go-lucky?

A bit of everything. While I like to plan some (being a single, short, young looking female, it's nice to know I have a safe place to sleep and some idea how I'm getting to the next destination) there's always room for improvisation. Some of my best times have been getting lost somewhere and finding my itinerary pleasantly shift, or having an idea to go somewhere and then changing my mind and going elsewhere. I'm a bit of a foodie so often I have ideas of what I may want to try, or a certain restaurant I would just love to eat at. As far as accommodations, they're pretty flexible - with a minor particularity here and there :o), but I find I'm usually not in the room all that much....

Introduction

Hi, I'm Ro. I love to travel - while it's always nice with a friend, solo has had its' perks :o). Have gone to China, France, the Caribbean, around the US and Mexico on my own. Saw this group and would love to meet fellow enthusiasts.
