San Diego Yorkie Lovers Meetup - Rancho Bernardo Dog Park

Deb will be hosting this meetup at our at Rancho Bernardo Dog Park!

We will be meeting at Rancho Bernardo Community Park at 18448 W Bernardo Drive.  You have to look for the sign for the dog park that is on the south part of the park behind the sports field right off the road. There is a path to get to the dog area. You can park near the road or drive into the mail entrance and go all the way around to the back of the park. Walk across the grass to get to the dog park area. It's actually a shorter walk from this parking location.

You may want to bring a chair to sit in since there is not much seating in the shade here. There are some good trees that do provide shade.

Please make sure you sign in on the sign up sheet. I think we are not getting a true count of the number of attendees.

Come and celebrate a beautiful day in paradise with our faithful and loving Yorkies at Rancho Bernardo Community Park and enjoy the company of other Yorkie owners while our Yorkies enjoy socializing too!

This is also a great time to get to know other Yorkie owners, exchange ideas and information about our wonderful Yorkie babies. We have a wealth of information among our membership. If you have any questions, bring them up when you do your intro. Also, if you know of pet/dog events that you think may be of interest, please email me or the organizers so I can note them on our calendar or post them on our message board.

Please check out our message board any time you have questions. It doesn't seem to be as busy at it used to be, however all of our messaging is saved and you can search for discussions and learn from past information that has been shared.

I live in seven oaks in Rancho Bernardo. My older sister just passed away leaving her two yorkies to find forever homes. I have two yorkies already and am unable to keep them. They are both males and neutered. The one is a silky terrier and he is large in comparison. The other one is a a yorkie size of most yorkies. They both need to have separate homes where they will be the only pet. The silky would be great in a home with an active family and school aged children. The yorkie would be great companion for just about anyone as long as he would be the only pet. Both dogs are great in the car, drove with them from St. Louis to San Diego and they were the best travelers. If anyone is interested please post a reply.

Hi Everyone! I know Gizmo and I joined this group many many months ago but haven't made it out to any meet ups! You see Gizmo has been sick on and off for a while and we couldn't figure it out till now! He was just diagnosed with IBD. Hes on medication now so we are hoping he starts feeling better soon and we can come out and meet you all! He loves all dogs and I know he would have a great time playing with all of your babies! I will keep you all posted if we can make it out to the next meet up! Can't wait to meet you all!
