Hi! I've recently moved to San Francisco from Vancouver, although originally I'm from London, UK, via the Middle East. I'm thirty-six years old, work down in the Valley, and I'm a keen cyclist, surfer, movie-goer and traveller.
I have a Syrian father and English mother. I grew up in the Middle East but moved to the UK when I was still young.
Haven't had enough time in San Francisco to find a favourite yet, although my favourite in Vancouver is the Alibi Room - fantastic beer selection.
I like cycling in its many forms - road, cross-country, touring and on the track. I picked up surfing after moving to the West Coast and look forward to finding some spots here in California. I like watching football (not soccer, FOOTBALL!) & cricket
I like beers in the West Coast style - cold and refreshing, but also with some flavour. Negra Modelo from Mexico is also a favourite. I'm also a big fan of tequila and rum. As for wine, I like reds from Burgundy/Oregon or whites from Alsace.
To make friends, relax with people who know how to enjoy a beer or two, and meet with people to watch a game or test match. Most of all though, I miss the old English wit and humour!

Wow, you're the only cyclist I have met so far that actually owns a Salsa Casseroll like me :) I use it for touring and commuting

I'm interested in Sunday rides in the 40-130 mile range with later starts (9 or 10 or later.) we usually meet up at the Golden Gate Bridge Gift shop at the south end.
I just watched Black Swan and it made me feel sick, in a good way. It was such a beautiful movie, yet terrifying. Welcome to the group Francis!
Hello Francis,
Welcome to the SF Bay! It's always good to meet another cult film buff! I'm a film fanatic/writer/
