Nature Camping Retreat at Alamere Falls

Spend a weekend by the shoreline immersed in the natural beauty of California. This backpacking weekend long retreat will focus on our relationship with nature, inner strength and community.
There will be yoga sessions on the beach, morning meditations, chanting, dancing, hiking, rope swinging, self discovery, laughing and all in all enjoying our lives & our company.
Delicious vegetarian meals will be provided but bring snacks and plenty of water for day hikes.
We will be staying at Wildcat Campground which is a 6 mile hike from the trailhead. The campground is situated by the ocean and a mile from Alamere Falls which is a gorgeous waterfall that enters the Pacific ocean. Here is a link to the description: http://www.nps.gov/pore/planyourvisit/campgrounds.htm
Space is limited, please RSVP early to reserve your spot!
To cover the cost of the campground, backpacking permits, meals and instruction, this weekend retreat will cost $80-125. If you can give more, we can set up a scholarship program for those who wish to attend but have limited funds.

Larissa/anyone - do you need anything? I plan to go shopping at Monterey Market right before leaving.

Went shopping today & got loads of yummy food! All the meals are vegetarian. And both dinners can be vegan if you don't put cheese in anything. :) Breakfast for the first day is vegan but not the second day. I ask you bring lunch for one day but I have enough vegan food for both lunches if need be.

Anyone interested in carpooling? I'll be driving from Berkeley. Also I was wondering if anyone who has a tent would be willing to share?

    Hi Larissa!
I'm looking into possibly signing up for this, but one question...we will need to bring a tent too, right? Thanks! :)

    June 12, 2013

    • Larissa H.

Possibly, so I didn't put it on the list. We'll all share tents so some people won't need to bring one. Thanks for asking! I hope you can come!
