Introduction

I'm psyched to try a challenge!

Do you have a current art project? Idea? Do you need help with it?

argh. not really! hurts my brain to try to think one up. I do want to paper an entire wall with photos of jewels from magazines. Give me a stack of Vogues from the 80's and some scissors and I'm set!

What is your figure drawing experience and what would you like from a figure drawing meetup?

I can help with web stuff, help manage the message board, etc...

What are your passions?

appreciating life and the precious earth, beautiful utilitarian things, plants, gardens, random signs, the american southwest, old shiny plastic things, certain music, certain people, thinking about what I dreamt about the night before. And cake.

Besides making art - how do you express yourself creatively?

Thinking about the world as I go about my day. Lots of internetting. Feathering my nest. Gardening. Purchasing and using Lush (totally creative!) Buying/wrapping/sending pressies to friends (year-round). My job is creative too...

What types of art materials/mediums do you like to work with?

all types of paint except gouache (traumatized in art class, still in recovery), found objects, all types of drawing pencils especially ones that make thick sooty black lines... fountainpens... my absolute favorite art thing is watercolor crayons...
