Introduction

As a graphic designer I mostly work with software programs, which are great but it's time I strengthen my real drawing skills. Plus I just moved to SF from Boston and I'd like to meet other artists.

Do you have a current art project? Idea? Do you need help with it?

I always seem to be working on something. No help needed at the moment, but thanks for asking.

What is your figure drawing experience and what would you like from a figure drawing meetup?

I have a lot of experience drawing models from art school where I drew the figure for hours each week. I still draw but I'm a point where I need real practice.

What are your passions?

My dogs and being outside with them. Nature. Art, of course. My friends and family. And movies.

Besides making art - how do you express yourself creatively?

In as many ways as possible. In my work as a designer, at home making spaces work and look good and feel comfortable. Gardening and allso cooking. Cooking is very creative.

What types of art materials/mediums do you like to work with?

Good old pencil and paper, ink, acrylics, and various collage materials.
