I agree. Meet up was great. The Kaiseki really sucked. It's a crime for a restaurant to charge that kind of money and serve sloppy food like this. The plating was bad, the plates were dirty, the pacing of the courses was non-existence. I really get a feeling like we were being fed like some farm animals. Within 20 minutes, our table was completely covered with the first 4 courses for each of us. Each course with lots of sloppy food. Seriously, when I pay 150 dollars for my meal, I expect a restaurant to be a bit more observant and pace the courses by how we are eating the food. This restaurant is now on my avoid list.

meetup was awesome, dinner was so-so. some hits but mostly misses. never thought to complain about big portions, i guess you do when the flavors are not spot-on. on a different note, we got a new nickname for mr. truffle. look for it... i hope it catches on!
