For one night only, Michelin starred The Village Pub will collaborate with Suntory Whisky to build an exclusive menu pairing Japan’s original artisan whisky with specifically curated dishes by Chef Dmitry Elperin. Inspired by Japan’s Kaiseki-style dining, Chef Elperin has tasked himself with building a multiple course menu that will feature Suntory Whisky served not in addition to, but as a primary part of the culinary experience. The result will be four intricate preparations that compliment and build upon the subtle, refined yet complex taste of Suntory Whisky, all presented by Neyah White, Suntory Brand Ambassador. “Suntory are the true Japanese whisky pioneers, and for over 90 years have perfected a portfolio of spirits intended to compliment and magnify specific flavors in food,” says White, “It is my honor to bring this tradition to America.”
