Congee Brunch at Cooking Papa on Sunday 10/6 (full day events!)

Like us on Facebook!

After the Health Department shutdown Hing Lung in Chinatown ( http://bit.ly/AoXax1 ), I have been searching up and down the Bay Area for a decent bowl of congee.  Cooking Papa is one of the few that serves some good congee.

The restaurant opens at 10:30am on Sunday and it gets crowded very quickly around 11am. It doesn't take reservation. Please be there on time, so we can get seated quickly. Otherwise, we may need to wait 30min or more.

This brunch will be shared family style and we will split the food bill evenly. You are responsible to pay for your drinks. If you have any dietary restrictions, please do not sign up. We will be ordering dishes with beef and seafood.

$1 nonrefundable RSVP to join our group. No shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of the event will be recorded as a demerit by our group. Individuals with demerits may be removed from the "Attending" list for future events.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
