The best way to discover a city is to walk through and enjoy delicious local delicacies. Join our Edible Excursions tour of the Ferry Building!

Featured in the New York Times, Edible Excursion tours guide eaters through SF's most delicious neighborhoods and lend an insider's connection to the chefs, food artisans, shoppe owners and servers. We'll hear their stories while savoring delicious morsels

SF Foodies can enjoy a 10% discount on all Edible Excursion tours! We're featuring one every week :)

Join our tour of Japantown to explore “hidden” restaurants, ethnic markets and new, innovative food businesses. One of only three remaining Japantown’s in the United States, this district is home to both veteran restaurant and shop owners featuring traditional, authentic Japanese ingredients as well as hip, young artisans reinventing classic Asian culinary gems.

Tastes may include sweet potato latte, onigiri (rice balls), okonomiyaki (Japanese frittata), mochi (rice cake), savory Japanese salads, noodles and an authentic Masala dosa with chutney tasting.

Stops may include:

Benkyodo Confections

Café Hana

Crown & Crumpet

Kissako Tea

Mifune Don Restaurant

Super Mira Market

YakiniQ Cafe

DOSA Fillmore

$60 nonrefundable ticket to join this tour. All Edible Excursions stops are subject to change depending upon availability.
